I'd love to know where your favorite karaoke spot is...are you a Shockoe Bottom dweller singing at places like Element Lounge or Wonderland or are you a suburbanite singing at The Funny Bone or Shamrocks? Let me know!
I am still fairly new to the Richmond area and only know Daddio's. But I would really like to find another spot to go to now. All of the friends I have here will not go to a karaoke bar with me so I go it alone. Would like to meet some neat people to hang out with and not feel so weird.

Valerie,
I'll probably be at T.J.'s gig at Bottom's Up Pizza on Nuckols Road Sunday night (I don't have to work on Monday! yay!!).
Join us!
I'm hoping to find all the great spots around town.... right now i like Caddy's... mellow crowd... But i also like the Shockoe Bottom scene too.... Hope to see you all at the Cha Cha's Karaoke Finals....
Sorry to be so slow responding. I guess I am prejudiced, but the Richmond Funny Bone Comedy Club at Short Pump Town Center is the only place where you sing as the center of attention, on stage, under the spotlight, through 12 speakers (the sound is incredibly good). The song selection is second to none and the food & beverage specials make it very affordable, if you stick with the specials. Monday nights at 8:30 p.m., that's where you want to be. A strict rotation with no dance sets. Get there early and you sing a lot, late maybe not
BESTRA I WANT TO THANK YOU WAY IN ADVANCE FOR THIS WEBSITE I THINK IT'S GOING TO BE DYNAMITE....HERE'S TO YOU SWEETHEART MUCH SUCCESS AND BLESSINGS TO YOU LOVE THE CRAIZEST. WILDEST MS KATHLENE
EVERYONE COME PARTY TONIGHT AT APPLEBEE'S HULL ST WITH VA IDOL AND DJ REFLEX AND MS KATHLENE..........GREAT CROWD THEN COME BACK TUESDAY FOR 80'S NIGHT WHERE YOU ARE ENPOURAGED TO IMITATE YOUR FAVORITE SINGER. MICHAEL JACKSON AND MADDONNA WERE THERE LAST WEEK EVEN BILLY JACK CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT BILLY JACK...............
I started going to Bubba's a few years back because it was close to home and I knew the KJ. Then I tried Gus' and they were okay, the crowd there did not clap for most of the singers and I believe you should clap for everyone. I have also gone to Cafe on the Hill and that was nice, but so far away. Now, I go to Wings inside the Double Tree Hotel at the Richmond Airport. It is so nice, not smokey even though they have smokers and the bartender and waitresses give you good service. You will find people there of all ages and they sing a wide variety of songs. The karaoke is great!
